God blessed us with our adoption referral!

Just yesterday, after nearly two years of waiting, God blessed us with our adoption referral! We got to see 6 pictures of the sweetest baby named Saliha, who is 9 months old in Ethiopia. Even though we have only seen pictures, she has our hearts already! God is so faithful and so good. Please pray that Saliha will continue to receive the best possible care at the orphanage and that God will continue to bless her with good health, pray that there would be no major complications going forward as this transitions to a "hard referral" and please also pray that we would receive at least one of the million grants we're applying for! We will share pictures as soon as we have a hard referral.

Brief update on our steps toward the mission field: Last week we submitted our budget for how much our personal and ministry expenses will be in Ecuador. Once the Reaching and Teaching board approves the budget then we can begin to build our team of ministry partners! We will also attend the Support Raising Solutions Bootcamp in Chicago on June 23-24 in order to learn more about reaching out to potential ministry partners. Please pray that God will build our team so that we will have many brothers and sisters in Christ praying, giving, and going on short-term mission trips with us in order to reach the lost and disciple believers in Ecuador and around the world.
